Wooden Serving Board - BlackShetlander Cecil Tait has worked with us to create a bespoke collection of handcrafted objects for Lerwick Distillery. He's created us a set of unique darkened wood pieces, using a method known as ebonizing. Ebonizing creates a dark, graphic look that emphasises the form of a piece. A Steel wool and vinegar recipe are key to give depth and darkness to the tannin of the wood, whilst still allowing for aspects of the grain to shine through. Since this
